Per Kroll is chief solution architect for Application Portfolio Management (APM). APM captures and organizes information about the application portfolio so that business and IT executives can make prudent decisions around investing, retiring, or re-vitalizing applications.
Kroll has previously been the driver for Measured Improvement, which provides a systematic approach to incrementally improve software delivery effectiveness, and Rational’s process management solution, including the IBM Rational Unified Process. He co-authored The Rational Unified Process Made Easy – A Practitioner’s Guide, with Philippe Kruchten, and Agility and Discipline Made Easy – Practices from OpenUP and RUP, with Bruce MacIsaac. A frequent speaker at conferences, Kroll has authored numerous articles on software engineering.
